I used to be a complete caffeine addict, I couldn't start my day without my huge red Starbucks travel mug filled with the delicious hot brown liquid version of crack. Then I stopped working, and I could sleep until 11 am every morning, and hence no longer really
needed the coffee. I quit my addiction cold turkey. It lasted all of 8 months. Then, I began working the Census job. Early wake up calls = K-cups to start my day. With the summer heat though, I never feel like drinking the super hot cup of coffee in the mornings. During the summer, I tend to frequent Starbucks for the iced version of caffeine goodness. A couple months ago I even bought a package of the Starbucks Via Iced packets, but at over $1 a pop, they still seemed pricey to make at home. Enter my new obsession: Brew Over Ice K-Cups! I seriously have a love affair with my Keurig, it's the best thing I have ever had, and now that I can make iced coffee at home, my caffeine addiction is back in full force!
I love me some vanilla flavored coffee, so the new Donut House Vanilla Iced Coffee K-Cups are definitely my drink of choice
And finally, in order to fully appreciate the wonders of iced coffee, one must have a special iced coffee cup. My go to cup? A Florida Gators Tervis Tumbler, gotta represent my alma matter and have some keep-my-drink-cold-in-an-indestructible-cup action
